Events at IBM are like the life blood. The events have been characterized as the vital part of the academic curriculum and life at IBM. The students at IBM are highly engaged in the extracurricular activities. The students get an opportunity to participate in diverse range of clubs. They organize themselves in different clubs every trimester.
Network with Alumni
Out of the many relationships you form at the campus, the most one is that between the students and the campus. IBM organizes events for the alumni too, as we believe in a long term relationship with the alumni and which grows deeper with time. The various events at IBM for alumni include reunion celebrations which strengthen the relationship between the two and the fondness grows deeper gradually with time.
Alumni Guest lectures are being organized by the campus to share the corporate experience with the current student batch. Also the Alumni get to speak and inspire students on various topics through seminars and workshops.
Convocation Ceremony
Convocation ceremony is a final adieu to the institution. This evening is organized by the campus to adieu good bye to the students who have successfully completed their PGDM program. This is a very special event as all the students along with their parents come and receive the MBA degree on the completion of the course. This is momentous event for the glorious future of the students.
The other celebrations at IBM include the cultural fest which is organized every year. This fest lasts for about 3-4 days and has a special theme attached to it. The students get to participate on the various functions performed on the cultural fest. These events include inter collegiate dance, fashion show quiz competitions. To witness this fest students from different B-school come and join us. Many of them participate in the events taking place at the cultural fest. The 4 nights at the school are amazing and these are the events for which students wait all round the year. The programs provide a platform to the students to show their talent. The winners are awarded with trophies and a participation certificate is presented to all the participants.
Every year we celebrate the anniversary function of IBM which is a great fun. The students perform many functions at the event. Last year Mr. Baba Sehgal along with Mr. Robo Ganesh performed and addressed at our anniversary celebrations in Visakhapatnam. The crowd at the campus pulled out all stop when it came to enjoying themselves.
The students batch at the beginning of every session are warm welcomed with a fresher party organized by the seniors. The seniors of the campus perform many functions to welcome the new batch every year. On the other hand, at the end of every session, the juniors adieu good bye to their seniors by throwing farewell party for their bright career and future ahead.
